Itineraries are curated learning paths that organize materials on specific themes related to EDI in design into well-structured sequences. They play a key pedagogical role within the platform, helping users to navigate the repository and supporting progressive learning experiences.
CONTENT REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 items
Each itinerary must include at least five materials (e.g. articles, videos, podcasts). This ensures a minimum depth and progression.
Learning Progression
Materials must be arranged in a clear, logical and pedagogically coherent sequence, for example moving from introductory concepts to more advanced or critical content.
Variety of Formats
Itineraries must include at least two different content formats (e.g. article and video, a podcast and article) to support diverse learning preferences and accessibility needs.
QUALITY EXPECTATIONS
Itineraries are expected to offer depth, multiple perspectives (including geographical, cultural or disciplinary ones) and meaningful engagement with EDI in Design. Materials included should clearly relate to the itinerary’s stated description and contribute to a coherent learning experience. Where relevant, contributors are encouraged to highlight the scope and limitations of the learning pathway to promote transparency and critical engagement.
